College & University Programs

Metro has partnered with Augustana College, Black Hawk College, and Western Illinois University Quad Cities to provide unlimited access to the entire Metro system with your student, faculty, or staff ID. Simply show the operator your college ID from a participating school each time you board, and that’s it - no fare required.

Augustana College

Augustana students can access the Route 53 directly from campus - ride the bus to and from class, or use it to get to the District, Target, or Hy-Vee. Need to go to the Airport or SouthPark Mall? Catch the Route 10 from campus to connect up with a variety of other routes via Centre Station in downtown Moline or the District Station in downtown Rock Island. For all those late night trips to the District, use the Late Night 53, and leave the driving to us.

Black Hawk College

Metro provides service to the Black Hawk College Moline Campus via Routes 30 and 60. Students attending the Adult Learning Center in Rock Island can get direct access from the Route 60.

Western Illinois University - Quad Cities

Metro provides direct service between Centre Station and the WIU-QC Riverfront Campus via the Connect, which operates Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. and Saturday 7:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Take the Connect to coffee shops, dining, and entertainment in downtown Moline, or make connections to other Metro routes or Bettendorf Transit Route 1 at Centre Station.

Iowa Colleges

Students who attend Palmer College of Chiropractic, St. Ambrose University in Davenport or Scott Community College in Riverdale can access the Metro system with their student ID - no fare required.
