11th Street RI Detour (Route 40) - update 9/1/23

UPDATE 3: The Route 40 inbound from Milan is regular route to Two Rivers Point. When leaving Two Rivers Point going inbound to District Station, the Route 40 will still use 9th Street to 18th Avenue to 11th Street to regular route. Please call Metro with questions at 309-788-3360.

UPDATE 2: Coming inbound from Milan, the Route 40 will use 11th Street to 46th Ave to Black Hawk Commons Drive to 9th Street to Two Rivers Point. Then from Two Rivers Point, continuing on 9th Street to 18th Avenue to regular route on 11th Street. Please call Metro with questions at 309-788-3360.

UPDATE 1: The Route 40 inbound from Two Rivers Point is still on detour using 9th Street to 18th Avenue to regular route on 11th Street. The Route 40 inbound from Milan to Two Rivers Point, outbound from the District to Two Rivers Point and outbound from Two Rivers Point to Milan is back to regular route on 11th Street.

Due to road work on 11th Street in Rock Island, the Route 40 will need to detour. The Route 40 outbound from District will use 11th St to 18th Ave to 9th St to Two Rivers Point, the Route 40 outbound from Two Rivers Point will stay on 9th Street to 46th Avenue to 11th Street to Milan, the Route 40 inbound from Milan will use 9th Street to Two Rivers Point, and the Route 40 inbound from Two Rivers Point will use 9th Street to 18th Avenue to 11th Street.
